Residential Project in Nevogilde Receives €28 Million Investment
The Greenstone residential development will be established in the heart of Foz do Porto, representing a €28 million investment. Considered “one of Nevogilde’s best-kept secrets,” the project is a collaboration between Violas Ferreira Holding and Bondstone. The development will feature 36 houses with independent access, in various typologies. The “townhouses” are T2 types, with two floors and private gardens. The “garden villas” are T3 and T4 types, also with two floors and private gardens. Finally, the “sky villas” are exclusive units on the top floor with private rooftops and independent access elevators.
“Responding to the needs of the current times, all houses benefit from large outdoor areas, unobstructed views, many green spaces, and in some cases, private pools – in addition to a spacious common garden that includes a pool and a ‘pool house’ for all residents,” the companies state in a press release.
Tiago Violas Ferreira, CEO of Violas Ferreira Holding, highlights that the new project “is born in the most peaceful area of Foz, where one can enjoy the privilege of walking in a green environment, benefiting from the sea and the City Park,” while emphasizing “the maximum exclusivity and privacy of Nevogilde and the project itself, where all houses have independent access.”
The Project
The Greenstone development was designed by architect José Carlos Cruz and the engineering firm A400, both responsible for other iconic projects in Porto. The project emphasizes contemporary design, comfort, and sustainability as its main development pillars. True to its name, the new project will feature green roofs, solar energy utilization, electric vehicle charging stations, and bicycle parking, among other characteristics that distinguish it in the Porto market.
Violas Ferreira Holding, which has other projects in Porto – in addition to the Porto Office Park, it is also developing the Pharmacia project in the Cedofeita area – has partnered with Bondstone for the Greenstone development. Louvre Properties, Bondstone’s brand specializing in high-end residential projects, has a portfolio of eight projects in Lisbon, Cascais, and Porto, including commercial successes such as Alexandre Herculano 41, Scenic, The Nest, and Excluxive.
The new project in Foz do Porto will feature 27 townhouses and garden villas of T2 to T4 typologies (with private areas ranging from 200 m2 to 390 m2, including private gardens) and 9 sky villas and pool sky villas (with private areas ranging from 210 m2 to 510 m2, including private rooftops). Paulo Loureiro, CEO of Bondstone, is confident that the houses “will sell very quickly” given “the exceptional location and the unique character of the project, which meets the needs of Porto families.”
